Responsibilities
Act as global relationship manager and team lead to promote a range of MUFG products and services to Chinese Private-Owned Enterprises (POEs), a core strategic focus for the Bank.
Responsible for originating business, assessing and mitigating credit and industry risks with appropriate transaction structure and client strategy to achieve sustainable revenue and other business targets, aligning with the Bank's business strategy.
Assist Department Head to plan and set objectives in pursuit of long-term strategic goals in alignment with MUFG's strategic objectives.
To actively identify, develop and promote new business and relationship management with corporate clients and promote cross selling in a healthy and sustainable manner.
Maintain close attention to Head Office / regional topics, and share MUFG's strategy, policies, and decisions in a timely and appropriate manner with team members.
Collaborate with Product Offices, including transactional banking, MUFG Securities, O&D, FX, derivatives, structured trade, structured asset finance, project financing, etc., to provide expertise and value to clients.
Monitor performance and credit status of clients and take necessary proactive actions.
Oversee and supervise the staff performance and build team spirit to drive the positive and can-do mind set for department.
Ensure KPIs and assigned targets arepleted with stipulated timeframe.
Ensure fullpliance with prevailing regulations (including global and regional standards) showing examples of ethical behaviour and following all internal controls.
Job Requirements :
Over 10 years of experience in Corporate Banking Business including managing Chinese corporates as global relationship manager. Prior working experience in China is an advantage.
Strong understanding of Chinese local finance laws and regulations.
Experienced in people management with strategic business acumen.
Strongmunication and influencing skills.
Possess deep product / industry knowledge ( transaction banking, derivatives, structured finance, trade finance, capital market, business matching, ESG, M&A finance, and etc.)
Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments and other regions.
Strong coaching, mentoring and leadership skills.
Proficient in written and spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
Business travel to mainland China is required .
