Your RoleOur Life Asia is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Marketing Actuary (Life / Health) to work in our Hong Kong office. In this role, you are responsible for providing support in the areas of pricing activities, product development, client management and reinsurance treaty preparations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, development and implementation of Gen Re’s marketing strategies
  • Develop and strengthen strong client relationships
  • Identify business opportunities and develop new products
  • Prepare quotations, referrals and reinsurance contracts
  • Support the negotiation of reinsurance contracts
  • Participatein regional and international initiatives and projects

Your Profile

  • A qualified or nearly qualified Actuary
  • At least 4 to 5 years of prior work experience in a Life Insurance or Reinsurance company with good knowledge of the Hong Kong market
  • Solid actuarial knowledge with product pricing background
  • Experience in developing protection-type products is an added advantage
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and / or Mandarin)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
