- As the Customer, Distribution & Market Management Lead, you will be responsible for managing and strengthening Zurich’s strategic broker relationships in Hong Kong & Macau
- You will be an integral part of the Customer, Distribution and Market Management team to lead the delivery and execution of our growth strategy within the Hong Kong insurance broking community
Job Accountabilities
Develop an overarching view of Zurich’s broker and customer relationships including identifying the key strengths and gaps as well as outlining the focus growth segments.Facilitate structured access to senior broking leaders through regular business review meetings, broker engagement forums and market eventsEffectively manage broker engagement around renewal and new business pipelines across key lines of business and key countries as relevantLead specific growth initiatives with select customers and broking partners in alignment with Zurich’s stated strategic prioritiesWork closely with underwriting colleagues to ensure clear and timely communication around Zurich’s proposition, appetite, and underwriting strategies to the relevant broking teams and customersOversee the delivery of broker agreements including regular portfolio analysis and business reviewsMaintain and deliver broker dashboards to relevant internal stakeholders to enable strategic assessment of evolving broker relationshipsManage and deliver on risk management services opportunities for customers and Zurich partnersEngage and manage Zurich partners in line with strategyJob Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with significant insurance industry experienceIdeally over 4 years underwriting and / or broking related experienceIn-depth knowledge of commercial insurance business, products, and customer & distribution dynamicsExperience in servicing multinational / complex accounts with large / key brokers a key advantageStrong executive presence, with the proven ability to influence senior leaders internally and externally, including at the C-levelExperience in market-facing and distribution rolesExperience in pipeline management and new business developmentStrategic growth mindset with a focus on delivery and executionStrong relationship management, people skills, and solution-oriented approachGood command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin-speaking an added advantageExcellent communication & presentation skills, collaboration skills, and ability to navigate ambiguity and manage changeExperience working in an international, multi-cultural environmentAbility to build trust-based business relationships with customers and producersData analytical skill is highly preferredProficient in MS Office Application including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointCandidate with less experience will be considered for Assistant Manager positionWhy Zurich
