The primary role of the candidate is to lead the community investment efforts and implementation of the company, working closely with different NGO partners and contributing to the sustainability efforts of Prudential in Hong Kong. The candidate will also play a key role in different internal committees in relations to sustainability, DE&I, and other external stakeholders such as governmental and semi-governmental bodies in support of the head of department.
Job Responsibilities
Community Investment : Develop and implement CSR strategies and programs with NGO partners, ensuring budget management aligns with internal requirements, while acting as the key contact for NGOs and stakeholders, overseeing staff volunteer activities, and executing CSR communications plans for both internal and external audiences.
Stakeholder management : Assist the Head of Department in managing engagements with external stakeholders, including government and semi-government bodies, supporting strategy development and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support the Head of Department in managing the Sustainability Task Force and play a key role in supporting the diversity efforts of the company internally.
Explore, arrange and manage thought-leadership and branding opportunities for our sustainability and community investment efforts to help build good will of the Prudential brand, both internally and externally.
Job Requirements
At least 10 years of experience in the field of corporate social responsibility and community investments
At least three years of experience working in a commercial organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong understanding of the HK social welfare landscape
Simple knowledge in photo editing
Strong project management capabilities
Ability to collaborate with multi-teams to achieve common goals
Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken)
