Job descriptionSelf-initiated, reliable, attentive to details and willing to take up additional responsibilities; A team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment independently with minimal supervision; Excellent analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills; Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing. University degree with related professional qualifications; Minimum 4 years' relevant experience with background in compliance and / agency administration in insurance industry or banking industry; at least 2 years’ relevant experience in supervisory position. Sound knowledge of the Insurance Ordinance, Code of Conduct for Licensed Insurance Agents & Brokers, Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and other relevant regulatory requirements highly preferable; You are required to obtain the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities

About the Role
Responsible for providing operational support to distribution channel(s) to ensure smooth execution of the sales processes
Duties / Accountabilities
- Supervise a team on sales support and agency administration operation to cope with on-going distribution channel business development within the Sales & Distribution Division;
- Monitor and maintain effective systems and controls on proper selection and administration of insurance intermediaries in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
- Handle the license and registration affairs of insurance intermediaries, enquiries / correspondences from regulators and coordinate CPD and compliance training to insurance intermediaries where necessary;
- Coordinate and liaise with related departments for preparation and regular review of agent / broker agreements, forms and correspondences;
- Support Team Manager in sales-related complaint investigation, audit issues raised by internal, external auditors & regulators;
- Assist in various reporting on intermediary management, risk management and credit review within the Division;
- Perform regular review and update of internal policies & procedures for the Division in accordance with regulatory requirements or Group standards;
- Provide administrative support on sales campaign management within the Division and participate in any special projects as assigned.
