(Senior) Data Science Analyst

Join the highly experienced Data Science team within the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence and take on a leading role in establishing a data-driven culture. Your primary focus will be to develop Data Mart, Automation, AI / ML models, leveraging cloud capability, and drive innovative data science projects aimed at creating value for the business.

Responsibilities :

Work with diverse stakeholders to expand data science discipline into the business application spectrum, driving successful Data Science projects.
Undertake data-related projects, identifying appropriate business problems and developing feasible Data Science solutions
Initiate and lead innovative data science proof-of-concepts, leveraging cloud capability to develop cutting-edge data-driven AI models ( ML, LLM / Document Understanding)
Collaborate with Data Science teammates in an Agile scrum approach, specifically on initiatives to enhance Datamart, including Finance / Prospect / Customer 360 datamarts
Develop robust predictive models, advanced model scripts, and statistical analyses to support data science & analytics initiatives on Machine learning and AI (LLM / Document Understanding).
Manage BI solution development and implementation for various MI reporting (Power BI) and deliver actionable insights from the data visualization process, prioritizing a customer-centric approach
Provide support for business transition in data and cloud projects, driving awareness and learning across the organization.

Your Profile

Qualifications :

Graduate or advanced degree qualification in related subjects, , Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.

2 years of relevant working experience in data analytics field, more experienced candidates will be considered as Senior Data Science Analyst

Understanding of Machine Learning concepts and algorithms ( predictive modeling, clustering, Computer Vision, LLM, etc)

Strong script programming skills ( Python, R, Matlab, Spark, R, SQL)

Experience in cloud services is a plus ( Azure, GCP, AWS, and Databricks)

Familiar with visualization tools, PowerBI, Tableau

Agile Scrum framework and Scrum Master experience is a plus

Previous exposure to the insurance industry will be an asset.

Innovative spirit and a can-do attitude to help drive the business forward

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)
