Our client is a long established professional services firm, a leading provider of consulting, advisory, regulatory and practical instruction to help their clients navigate the challenges surrounding the business landscape of the day. With a global presence and an office in all major jurisdictions, they are keen to elevate and promote their Asia Pacific region further to increase profile, revenue and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Global Headquarters, and the Executive Management Team in Asia Pacific, this role will be tasked to :
- Work strategically with the senior stakeholders to devise the direction for growth across the region
- Be a key business partner with the business heads to align BD strategy, steer and drive client focus to maximise revenues, connect the dots and increase margins
- Be the point of contact for all operational matters, influence, align, mobilise and drive initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity across the region
- Lead ad hoc projects and work across functions and jurisdictions to ensure deliverables are met in line with regional and corporate objectives
- Lead, mentor and coach teams across internal corporate functions, bring collaboration across offices and standardise processes
Job Requirements
Suitable candidates will ideally have a minimum of 15+ years of experience from a similar business services environment. You will :
Come from a business services firm such as accounting, consulting, law firm or other similar industry providing services to a portfolio of clientsIdeally have a professional qualification such as qualified accountant, MBA or be a former lawyer by backgroundWorked in a senior leadership capacity of driving growth for the business, being involved in leading from the front and setting the strategyDemonstrate proven success in leading the business to capitalise on opportunitieshave been recognised as high potential in your firm and have excelled in everything you dohave strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the gravitas to influence and lead others to buy into new ideas and ways of doing thingsfluency in English is essential and ability to speak Cantonese and Mandarin a distinct advantageHands-on experience of working in Asia Pacific is essential as is the understanding of navigating the business landscape across Asia and China.
