The role will support the Director, Compliance Projects & Reporting on providing regulatory advice and guidance to business functions on various matters, including but not limited to new business initiatives, outsourcing arrangement, new products and partnerships, for PHKL, Macau Branch and PGHK. This role will also provide advisory on compliance projects including Regtech & compliance analytics and digital developments, managing and supporting on liaison with relevant regulatory and industrial bodies.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide regulatory advice and guidance to business functions on various matters, including but not limited to new business initiatives, outsourcing arrangement, new products and partnerships, for PHKL, Macau Branch and PGHK. This involves assisting business functions with practical and appropriate solutions to support decision making.
- Coordinate and work with the business units on impact analysis for and implementation of new regulatory and internal requirements.
- Preparation and coordination of Compliance-related regular reporting, including the monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports to Committees, Group Compliance / HK ERM, etc.; also to support minuting when deemed necessary.
- Support the management of regulatory engagement policy in dealing with government and regulatory bodies in order to maintain effective relationships to help foster mutual trust, respect and understanding. This is also including addressing internal enquiries as well as supporting the Director for appropriate engagement with the regulators on issues that could positively impact PHKL, Macau Branch & PGHK.
Job Requirements
Degree holder in Accounting or Business Administration; CPA qualification is an advantageMinimum of 4 years’ experience in compliance or auditRelevant experience in dealing with regulators or governmental bodies and experience in regulatory compliance is desirable.Fluent in both spoken and written English and ChineseGood knowledge in life insurance productsComputer literate, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
