The role : Key Account Manager
Main Responsibilities :
- Drive profitable sales growth within the assigned customer portfolio.
- Collaborate with Technical Sales Managers and Technical Sales & Business Development Managers to achieve the shared goals.
- Develop and execute measurable sales activities to achieve agreed targets.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained in the CRM system.
- Proactively utilize the available sales tools to identify areas of growth and develop actions.
- Build and maintain strong, multilevel relationships with customers through consistent, high activity levels.
- Lead or contribute to local marketing events, as agreed with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure proactive contract and credit management.
- Foster a strong team spirit by collaborating and working closely within internal teams including Customer Service, Marine Product Solutions, Port Service Engineers, Operations and Credit.
- Ensure compliance according to agreed global sales governance framework, policies, and processes, including Compliance, Legal and Credit policies.
Qualifications :
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent marine qualification.At least 10 years of professional experience. Preferably a minimum of 5 years in sales roles.Ambitious and results oriented with proven sales achievements.Commercially minded with experience in establishing and maintaining win-win customer relationships.Solution orientated with a positive mindset.Strong desire to contribute to a collaborative and strong team culture.Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.Ability to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.Strong communication skills and a good command of English language (both verbal and written). Chinese language skills are an advantage.Experience with IT and CRM systems and digitally curious.Ready to Join Us?
