As the business continues to grow, they are looking to hire a Deputy CFO (Head of Finance). On their behalf, we are seeking a seasoned finance executive, with an in-depth understanding of finance functions to develop and implementprehensive policies and protocols that align with thepany’s strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate MUST have working experience in insurance sector (general, life or reinsurance); must be a Mandarin speaker, possess extensive expertise in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), financial reporting, Audit, and IFRS 17. The candidate should have substantial managerial experience within the general insurance or reinsurance industries, with a strong preference for those with reinsurance experience. Aprehensive understanding of China and Hong Kong financial regulations is essential to ensurepliance and strategic alignment with regional standards.
As senior executive within the firm, you will collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and the executive team to make decisions regarding thepany's financial strategy and operations. You will act as a custodian of thepany’s revenue and expenses and prepare financial projections in support of the organisation’s overall business plan. Furthermore, you must interpretplex financial statements and ensurepliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will be involved with the day–to–day operations of apany and various business lines.
In addition, you will lead and manage the FP&A function, ensuring robust financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis processes. Serve as a subject matter expert on RBC and IFRS 17, ensuring efficiencies and providing guidance on implementation and reporting. Drive efficiency improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance the quality and timeliness of financial data and to implement and maintain robust controls and procedures to safeguard the organization's assets.
