Job Responsibilities
- Manage a wide range of supplies and procurement activities, ensuring the team operates smoothly and effectively in accordance with procurement policies and procedures and best practices.
- Assist in planning, developing and implementing sustainable sourcing and purchasing strategies to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-savings
- Analyse management reports and key data to manage risks related to quality, cost, supply and delivery of purchases, and provide possible prevention / improvement recommendations
- Liaise with internal departments and suppliers on tender processing and agreement establishment, conduct price analysis, price comparison and assist in preparing the recommendation report
- Develop and coach subordinates of the supplies and procurement team to deliver added value and continuous improvement
- Monitor the daily operations of the Third-Party Logistics (3PL) project, handling logistics and store management to maintain supply chain efficiency
- Perform any other duties (in the capacity as Manager, Supplies & Procurement) as assigned by supervisor(s) from time to time
Job Requirements
Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferably in Purchasing / Supply Chain Management / Logistics disciplinesAt least 5 years' solid experience in supplies and procurement field of which at least 3 years at managerial or supervisory levelExperience in logistics and warehouse management, particularly in the healthcare sector or a sizeable organisation will be an advantageStrong and proven supervisory and people management skillsStrong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skillsGood command of both spoken and written English and ChineseSelf-motivated, independent, responsible and able to work under pressureProficient in MS office applications; Hands-on experience in using Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) System – Supply Chain Management is preferredCompensation and Employment Terms
