Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated F&O Product Manager to lead the end-to-end technology requirements for our Futures & Options (F&O) trading workflows in Japan. This role will cover both agency and principal trading, ensuring seamless integration and performance across front-to-back systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Own and manage the full lifecycle of F&O technology workflows, from front office execution to back office processing.
  • Collaborate closely with trading, operations, compliance, and technology teams to define and deliver product requirements.
  • Drive product strategy and roadmap for F&O systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into technical specifications.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic insights to C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the platform remains competitive and compliant.

Required Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a product manager in the F&O derivatives domain, with strong understanding of both agency and principal trading workflows.
  • Strong understanding of trading workflows in Japanese derivatives products, futures and options. Both listed and OTC products.
  • Solid knowledge in position management and front office risk management (ie. greeks).
  • Solid financial knowledge of Japan derivatives markets, trading systems, and post-trade processes.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience reporting to executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English; Japanese language skills are a plus.

    • Preferred Experience :

  • Prior experience in a financial institution or trading firm.
  • Exposure to Japanese markets with experience with Pan-Asia cash equities trading a plus.
  • Good PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, Excel and Jira skills.
  • High motivated and self-starter.
