To cope with our business expansion, we are looking for an aggressive and highly motivated candidate to join us for the following position :
Procurement :
- Build and maintain excellent airline relationships on behalf of PSA BDP International – in essence, become the ‘face’ of PSA BDP International to the airlines.
- Negotiate all Regional agreements with PSA BDP’s core airlines & partners.
- Create a “winning and sustainable infrastructure”
- Create and maintain Core Carrier Concept with >
70% contribution with A class carriers or specific Partners

It is key to development a regional Airfreight Products & assist with the development of local airfreight products (inbound and outbound). Build bridges with the countries within the region with primary focus to / from USA, Europe and Intra-AsiaSupport the growth of the air product through close interaction with the business leaders and Commercial Team with an objective of growing PSA BDP’s tonnage and profitability. Initiatives and outside the box thinking much appreciated. In these interactions with business leaders, ensure every experience is a positive one for both the internal and external customer.Owning the Pricing rights during the tender process and accountable in the Implementation and Retention ProcessResponsible for assisting in consistent consolidation startup for both key import and & key export lanesTrade Lane Approach to work with overseas and give people access to your regionBe Commercial. Support Sales by offering solutionsSelf-starter. Able to work independently to achieve goals.Secure marketable buy rates; ULD’s / CPA / consolidation programs for PSA BDP’s air freight product.Support sales efforts within PSA BDP to gain new business opportunities for the airfreight product. Leadership and guidance is vital to support the boost of your Product.Assist gateways with local contract negotiations / rate efforts.Monitor Innovations and changes in the Industries landscape.Accountable for updating your rates in Smart Quotes with current rate levels for all air products.Coordinate with the pricing team for daily rate quotes over 5, kgs Regional Spot deskCoordinate with the RFQ team when special buys needed for regional and global RFQ’sResponsible to communicate all rate changes and carrier changes / agreements with operations globally and with key customers.Maintain and create reports to run the airfreight business, Monthly Market Air Product Update with KPI’sAnalyze reports to spot trends and advise MD’s and sales where the market trend is heading.Work in conjunction with the Global business analyst of PSA BDP Smart Insight to maintain and improve PSA BDP Smart Insight for airExemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements
PRE-REQUISITES :
Experiences : 6 - 8 years of direct industry experience required. 3 years direct procurement with airlines preferred.
Education : Tertiary Degree with degree in Logistics / Supply Chain is preferred.
Technical Skills : Must be fluent in Excel, Word and other PC applications.
Personal Traits : Outstanding communication skills, detail oriented, organized, team-oriented, high-energy, dependable, willing to travel, etc.
