Asset Management – Global Real Estate - Real Estate Asia Pacific - Portfolio Management - Managing Director

Join JPMorgan Asset Management's Global Real Estate team in Asia Pacific as a Managing Director in Portfolio Management. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic investment decisions and create value for clients through proactive asset management and capital raising efforts.

As a Portfolio Manager in Real Estate Asia Pacific team, you will lead and actively participate in portfolio management efforts for various private direct real estate strategies, including reviewing investment opportunities sourced by the acquisitions team, activities of the asset management team to create investment value, and assessing the disposition of investments with the objective of achieving the strategic risk / reward outcomes targeted by each specific strategy. You will collaborate with the senior investment, research and strategy, and product development teams to formulate and launch strategies / funds and is also a key participant in the various investment review committees that are responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, financing / refinancing, major investment decisions, budget / business plan reviews, asset strategy reviews, quarterly dashboards, and key decisions across investments.

This senior level role is also responsible for directly interfacing with prospective and existing clients, client advisors, client portfolio managers, sales and relationship management teams, and related parties in order to assist in the capital raising and relationship management process with clients and investors, both institutional as well as from within the intermediary and private wealth channels.

Job Responsibilities :

• Develop strategies and execution plans to achieve the objectives outlined in client mandates and fund guidelines.
• Assist with the development of strategy / fund documentation, including private placement memorandum, partnership agreements, investment advisory agreements, and other investment documentation as well as execute capital raising plans
• Evaluate and oversee the acquisitions, asset management, development, and disposition activities, including sustainability integration within the strategy, to ensure client / fund objectives are achieved
• Evaluate, review, and implement multi-year strategies for the portfolio, including hold / / sell recommendations
• Manage liquidity requirements of the portfolio, including determining distributions, reserves, and additional sources of funding
• Manage risks within the investment portfolio, including exposure, concentration, counterparty, tenant, leasing, credit, interest rate, foreign currency, political, etc. risks and interfacing with internal control parties
• Review the annual business plan, leasing plan, capital and development program and operating budgets presented by asset managers
• Assist with capital raising through directly interfacing with prospective and existing clients, consultants, client advisors, client portfolio managers, and relationship managers throughout the capital raising lifecycle
• Review investment strategies, markets, portfolio performance, and portfolio updates / reports to prospective and existing clients, client portfolio managers, and relationship managers
